Privacy Policy

This policy covers all games and services published by Paper Wasp Games. We believe privacy policies should be readable, so we wrote this one in plain language.

The short version: We don't collect personal data. We don't require accounts. We use anonymous analytics to understand how our games are played, but we can't identify you from that data.

What we collect

Data stored on your device

Our games store progress data (such as daily results, streaks, and settings) in your browser's local storage or on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. If you clear your browser data or uninstall a game, this data is deleted.

Anonymous analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data - things like which puzzles are played, how often features are used, and general performance metrics. This helps us understand what's working and what to improve.

This analytics data:

• Does not include your name, email, IP address, or any personal identifiers
• Cannot be used to identify you individually
• Is not linked to any account or profile
• Is not sold or shared with third parties

What we don't collect

• No personal information (name, email, phone number)
• No account or login data (we don't have accounts)
• No location data
• No advertising identifiers
• No cross-site or cross-app tracking

Third-party services

Our games are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Our anonymous analytics are processed by PostHog. Neither service receives personal data from our games.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email is processed by our email service provider solely for sending updates. We don't share subscriber emails with anyone else.

Children's privacy

Our games do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Since we don't collect personal data or require accounts, there is no age-gated data to manage.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since we don't collect personal data, we have no way to notify you directly - but we'll note significant changes in our game update logs.
